Welcome to The Barn at Meadow Lakes: Your Year-Round Sierra Nevada Sanctuary

We’re excited to announce that our newly remodeled barn is open for year-round rentals, offering a luxurious, rustic escape on our 40-acre apple orchard. Winter transforms the Orchard into a peaceful, snow-covered wonderland, perfect for wildlife watching, quiet walks, and cozy evenings by the firepit.

Located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, The Barn at Meadow Lakes is perfectly situated between two of the nation’s most stunning natural gems: Yosemite National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. This makes our property an ideal home base for exploring both parks’ unique winter beauty and the “hidden gems” across the surrounding counties of Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Kings, and Tulare.

Discover the Tranquility of a Winter Orchard

When you visit in winter, the Orchard is a serene, almost magical place. Snow blankets the trees, and you may encounter deer, foxes, and owls quietly wandering through the apple rows. Enjoy peaceful walks, or just sit by our firepit, bundled up with a warm drink, to take in the silence and starry skies. Inside, the Barn’s high-end fixtures and cozy furnishings offer an inviting retreat from the cold, allowing you to relax and recharge in luxurious comfort.

Local Adventures and “Hidden Gem” Spots Nearby

Perfectly positioned between Yosemite and Kings Canyon, our location gives you easy access to incredible outdoor experiences and charming local towns. You’ll be just a short drive from iconic Yosemite spots like Mariposa Grove, home to giant sequoias, and the quieter Kings Canyon, where you can experience winter solitude among towering peaks and ancient trees.

Here are some local favorites and hidden gems by county to add to your Sierra Nevada adventure:
