We’re excited to invite all families to our Opening Day Apple Pageant on September 14, 2024, and we’ve got a special role for kids who want to join the fun! 🌟
If your little one loves to dress up, here’s how they can participate in the pageant:
Smoke, Fire, Rain, or Snow:
Encourage your kids to wear grey or black (for Smoke), red (for Fire), white (for Snow), or blue (for Rain). We’ll hand out special props at 10:30 AM to help them bring these elements to life in our pageant!
Forest Animals:
They can also dress up as a woodland creature - think foxes, owls, bear, mountain lions, or squirrels - and join the forest animals as they come out to support "Flame," the Phoenix in its grand performance.
Apple Pan Dowdy Kids:
We have a limited number of red hats available for kids who want to play the role of "Apple Pan Dowdy Kids." It’s a fun chance to be part of the harvest tradition, so arrive early to grab your hat!
Important Reminders:
Parking is limited, so if you live within walking distance, we encourage you to walk to the farm.
We will have side-by-sides available to assist those who have difficulty walking.
Bring your own chairs, sunscreen, and hats—our live performance will take place in direct sunlight, and we want everyone to be comfortable!
The pageant is a chance for your kids to shine, and we can’t wait to see their creativity come to life. Whether they’re the rain that nourishes the earth, the fire that sparks renewal, or a playful forest animal, they’re sure to have a memorable time.
